There is a lot of divisions.
In the Olympics we are divided by the countries.
In high school, we are divided by the size of our schools.
In different sports leagues, we are divided by talent.
There are a lot of divisions.
People are divided on politics, abortion, health care, assisted suicide and well you get the point.
It's weird to think of the different divisions.
It's even worse when you look at the Church.
There are between 30 and 40,000 different denominations or differences in Christianity.
It's often amazing to look at.
I ponder about this, is this alright?
I usually come back to the same thing and it's what Jesus told his disciples when they saw a man performing miracles in Jesus name.
Mark 9:40…
"for whoever is not against us is for us."
There are a lot of denominations but it doesn't mean there is division.
I am part of a great youth ministry network and hopefully will be more apart of the ministry connection in Terre Haute.
They fully believe this you are either for or against us.
It's all about unity and bringing people together.
Some of the people I am closest to in TH are ministers of other Church's.
People that get this same part that Jesus talks about, you are either for us or against us.
We can have different views, but in the Church the main area is, are they for or against Christ?
What do you think?
What does unity look like in the Church?
What about Church as a whole?
What about you? Are you for or against us?
Have a great day.
