The dark can be a scary place.
When you have to rely on other senses.
Every morning Nevaeh and I walk downstairs without the lights on.
If we don't pick up the toys, it can be a very bad problem.
Darkness is interesting.
As it gets darker earlier, it changes the way we do things and sometimes our personality.
In high school I swam.
This would require getting up and being at the school in a cold pool at 6 a.m. and not leaving at night until about 6:30.
There were times the only light I would see would be during school.
It can be a downer.
Light can be refreshing, a source we look forward too.
We have the choice whether we are going to look at the light or the dark.
Faith can be a light in a dark place.
Jesus shares this in Luke 11:34-35…
"Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad your body also is full of darkness. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness."
We have a choice with our view of the world.
We can focus on the negative and bad thing or the positive and good things.
We have the ability to look at negative and try to think how we can make it positive.
There are things that drag us down, but we are called to change that.
We have the choice to brighten up someone's day or tear them down.
What are you going to do?
Have a great day.
