How are you blessed?
I am blessed by a lot of things in my life….
• A great family both immediate and extended.
• A beautiful wife that I love more and more every day.
• Great kids that make me laugh every single day.
• A loving and caring Church family.
• A great youth staff that wants to see more people following Jesus.
• Disc Golf.
• Some awesome friends and
• THE 2011 WORLD SERIES CHAMPION DETROIT TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s going to be a great year for the Tigers.
We can get so bogged down by life and feel lower then low.
The disciples were down because Jesus died, but then he came back.
They were excited.
This is what he did in Luke 24:50-51…
“When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.”
He came back and blessed them.
We are so blessed sometimes and we don’t even realize it.
Our life is so much easier than other people’s lives.
We take it for granted sometimes.
There are people in the world who don’t even know when or where their next meal is coming.
What’s our problem?
Does it compare with just trying to survive?
We have so many things to be thankful for.
Try this…
If you are blessed, tell someone about it or mention to someone else how you are blessed by having them in your life.
Or you know there are people that aren’t as blessed in your life. What can you do to bless other people to help someone when they are down.
Jesus blessed the disciples before leaving, who can you bless today?
