One of the questions I have asked of me when talking about
the Bible being 100 percent true is how did Judas die?
As I read through the books of Acts I come up to this.
I believe the Bible is 100 percent true and this is one
question I have had that people have asked to stump me.
This is why there is some difference with this…
Matthew 27:5…
“So Judas threw the money in the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.”
Acts 1:18…
“(With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas
bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his
intestines spilled out.)”
So Jesus died two different ways.
I have had people mention to me, how can one man die two
different ways?
This is what we are looking at with this section.
There are two possible scenarios that happened…
1.
After hanging himself, the intestines become
swollen and busted open after that.
Or
2.
Judas hanged himself over a cliff or a distance
from the ground. The rope he used on the
branch of the tree he was using broke, he fell on the rocks below him and
“burst open.”

Commentary gave the above text.
I believe one of the two answers above is what happened.
There are times when we think the bible contradicts itself
but there are answers and ways to figure this out.
