It's been a while.

It feels like it’s been a while since I have been on here.

Wow, it’s because I have.

Mind pulling me a million different directions a second, thanks ADD.

So between going on vacation, dad visiting, Christmas, being busy and doing other stuff, today I make a commitment to get back on track.

Today is an amazing bit of scripture in Acts 2:14-41.

Peter gave a sermon which has some scripture that hits home with me everytime.

Peter mentions what David said in Psalm 16:8-11…
“I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
There my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
My body also will live in hope,
Because you will not abandon me to
The grave,
Nor will you let your Holy One see
Decay.
You have made known to me the paths
Of life;
You will fill me with joy in your presence.”

I appreciate this scripture and Peter bringing it up again.

Some things are worth mentioning more then once and I am glad Peter shared this.

Peter continues on to give a great message to the people about Jesus and faith.

The people were very touched by his message and asked what do we do now?

He said this in Acts 2:38…

“Repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Peter goes on to say…

“Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”

After giving this message over 3,000 people were added to the Church.

3,000 made a decision.

This is an amazing story and the Church took off.

Each person had to make their own decision though.

Where are you at with your decision process?

These people made the decision in faith.

What are you having trouble making decisions in?

There are some messages that are worth hearing time and time again.

The fact no matter how bad you think you are or how many mistakes you make God can forgive you.

Even in the hard times, Jesus still loves you.

Know matter who you are or what you do Jesus still loves you and wants a personal relationship with you.

What are you going to do with your life from this point forward?

Have a great day.
