There just dumping out water

Several years ago I was at a concert in the middle of the summer.

It was a hot day and by the time Blink 182 took the stage it was finally starting to cool down.

The concert had outrageous prices for everything including the necessities like water.

I think a cup of water was going for something like $4.

After one of their songs the two lead singers stopped and took a drink of water.

They gave a loud Ahhhhhhhhhh after the drink.

Then they started to talk and stated that it was pretty amazing, they get this water for free and yet the crowd would have to spend like five dollars for a cup.

They then started pouring out there huge thing of water on the stage while making gestures.

The crowd wasn't too happy about this.

While it was all done in fun and joking around, the harsh truth was, they were joking about something that wasn't funny to people that paid 30-50 dollars for a ticket and then get outrageous cost too.

There was no sense of grace or mercy.

Jesus at one point was healing the sick of a town and people were there for three days around Jesus watching all that was taking place.

In verse 32 Jesus came to a realization and wanted to help the people in Matthew 15:32…

"I have compassion for these people, they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way."

Jesus want and just like with the 15,000 people, he fed the crowd of about 12,000.

There was compassion.

So much in life when it comes down it, there is no compassion.

No grace, no forgiveness.

Or the opposite might happen and someone might have worn out their welcome. People might have had compassion on the person but that person took advantage of that and completely burned a group of people.

Have you experienced this or seen this happen?

If Jesus wouldn't have done this people would have most likely died after coming to see Jesus.

Compassion is not an easy thing, in one way or another we have all either been shown no compassion or been taken advantage of for showing compassion.

If Jesus was willing to show me compassion for making the mistakes I have made and forgiving me, I need to do a good job of making sure I show that same compassion to other people.

What do you think?

Have a great day.
