Have you ever thought about that?
Everyone matters.
There is a purpose for each and every person, there's some good that each and every person can do.
Do you believe this?
We think of ways to discount people, thinking they don't matter.
In high school this could be the girl that got pregnant and instantly she is discredited.
People come up with every name to call her to rip her apart.
It could be that person that is just an outcast, doesn't ever seem to fit in.
Or the person that tried too hard to fit in but does it too hard.
People often feel disvalued, like their lives don't matter that much.
Sometimes we get stuck in the average of life, work 8-5, come home eat, watch some TV then go to bed and start all over the next day.
We get stuck in thinking we are average, not living for great things.
Is this truly how life could be?
Jesus tells the story of a lost sheep.
Someone loses 1 out of a 100 sheep.
Yet the person goes and looks for it.
He does not stop till he finds the one lost.
Matthew 18:13-14…
"And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost."
While Jesus is talking about little ones or young ones he could be talking just as easily about us.
Maybe we have been lost for a long time and we aren't little anymore.
We have a God that cares about each and every person.
No matter how we screwed up or feel depressed.
There is more to life then we could ever understand.
Where are you at in your life?
Do you feel lost or just average?
Looking for a purpose for this life you live?
What would you think if someone was calling for you constantly wanted to know you more, could help you be the person you have always wanted to be.
Yet you deny this person, ignore them talk bad about them.
This person cares deeply for you.
He cares for you more than your so called bff's.
There is more to life then we know.
There is someone that wants the best for us.
No matter how much we could be lost, he's there to find us.
No matter how far we could be from Jesus, we cares deeply for each and everyone.
1 out of 100 sheep were lost and the man went searching for the one.
He was excited when he found the lost one.
Jesus cares about each and every person.
What's your take?
Do you feel lost?
Have you ever felt lost before?
Jesus is there and he cares.
What do you think?
Have a great day.
