Finding your happy place

Everyone needs a happy place.

A place where there is no distractions and you are able to rest relax and meditate.

It's not always easy to get to this place.

We are busy people with school, work, kids, and all the other things we do with our time.

There is no time to slow down and relax.

Ever feel like you are always on the go?

No time to slow down.

I know people that are like this and I used to pride myself being like this.

In college, I worked at four places two I was paid at and two were volunteer, while going to school full time and playing in three hockey leagues.

There were days I would wake up at 5 and not arrive home for bed until 1 or 2 only to get up and do it again the next day.

I never had anytime to relax or just think.

Usually you have to work in a time to relax in your schedule.

It might require waking up or going to bed a little later for this to happen.

Jesus need time to get away too.

Mark 1:35…

"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the hosue and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Jesus needed time to get away just like we do today.

What can you do to get away, to relax, to spend some time in meditation?

Have a great day.
