Pain free

It used to be all the time, but now it's rare to see Head On commercial.

I have no idea if the product is still around or not.

It was simple enough, you have a headache, you put this on and it goes away.

I have never even known anyone who got this product.

I wonder how it is?

It's nice when you are going through something painful and you have something that makes it go away.

It's easier said than done when you are physically hurt, but the same is not true when it's a different type of hurt.

There are things that are wrong with all of us, nobody has a free ride from pain.

I know of people that are currently struggling with being alone, depression, guilt, cutting themselves, being in an abusive relationship (Physically and verbally), recently got divorced or in the process of getting divorce, and multiple things that are physically wrong with them.

It's hard.

Nobody guarantees life is going to be easy.

This is something that Jesus brings to all of us regardless on whether we believe or not.

Jesus was walking down a crowded street, when a lady sought Jesus.

She had been sick for 12 years.

In that time and age this basically meant she was an outcast, she gave all of her money to doctors and none made her better.

People thought that when something was wrong with you and you can't be healed, you did something against God.

This lady had faith in Jesus.

As he was walking down she touched his cloak.

Instantly she was healed.

Jesus felt power leave him and asked who touched me.

They were in a crowd place and the disciples said it is impossible, you are in a crowd, there isn't a way to tell.

Jesus knew someone touched his clothes and the women feeling guilt came out and confessed what she did.

She fell at his feet and was scared with fear telling the truth.

This is how Jesus responded Mark 5:34…

"Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

The women (We don't ever find out her name) was healed.

She confessed what she did to Jesus he healed her.

This is what Jesus offers all of us, a freedom from suffering.

Does it mean once we believe in Jesus we are completely free from suffering?

No.

It means that we always have someone to lay our burdens down.

We can do something that is nearly impossible to do…

Let it go.

Jesus is there to let all of our worries go away.

I have went through some painful things, especially growing up.

Without Jesus, I would be a very hateful and resentful man.

He allows us to let our burdens go.

No matter how far we are from him, when we have faith that pain can go away.

What's a burden you have been carrying around that needs to be let go?

Jesus loves you.

He died on the cross to carry all the burdens so we don't have too.

Let it go.
