Everyone whether young or old has the ability to change.
Some people do not like change, some do.
In a movie, there was some people that were at a party, they were talking about high school.
This girl looked at these two guys and said, "Wow, you guys haven't changed since high school!"
They responded, "Sweet."
With a giggle she responded, "No it really isn't."
They walked away not very happy.
People change overtime, but some things might not change.
Some people can change for the good and some people change for the bad.
It's going to be interesting going to our 10 year high school reunion and see where people are at.
I know through Facebook I really surprised some people by going into ministry.
People can change.
I used to think Christians were all hypocrites, my views change.
How are you different since high school, or how are you different since moving up in school or out of school?
Jesus changed and some people wouldn't accept that.
He went home and spoke, the people were all amazed by him and his knowledge.
Then they started to question who he was.
Mark 6:2-3…
"Where did this man get these things?" they asked. "What's this wisdom that has been given him, that he even does miracles! Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him."
Jesus responded to the people only in his hometown is a prophet without honor.
They thought of Jesus as the man before his ministry started.
Jesus changed and some people couldn't accept that.
Some of the hardest people to please and show that we changed are the one's that know us best.
Jesus wasn't able to do many miracles or healings because of the lack of faith.
How do we teach to other people that we have changed?
We aren't the people we were before.
Just because someone's marriage failed once, doesn't mean it's automatically going to fail again.
How can we be more willing to accept change?
What do you think?
Have a great night.
