TGIF

Throughout life we exerpeince many high's and lows.

One of the things most people recognize as a high is Friday.

It could have been the best of weeks or the worst of weeks, but it's Friday.

TGIF (Thank God It's Friday)

School is almost over and work is almost done for the week.

What a great feeling.

It's awesome when you lead into a day off.

No matter what happens today you could almost be walking on air because of a day off coming.

Jesus was about to exerpiernce a major high.

He was coming into Jerusalem as a well known hero.

He was a great teacher.

He healed many people.

People thought of him as a great leader.

Some thought he would be the leader that would lead the Jews over the Romans.

He enters the city on a donkey, people throw their coats and branches down on the road in front of him.

In Mark 11:9-10 the people said…

"Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

"Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!" "Hosanna in the highest!"

The people loved him, they thought highly of him.

He was a respect leader of the people.

Little do they know that this respected, well thought of teacher and leader would be treated to the worst death possible.

The people that loved him and heard great things about him would soon turn their backs on him.

We expereince high's and low's in life.

While sometimes we expereience highs, we have to cherish those moments.

During the low's we have to learn from them and make the best out of them.

I would rather deal with the high's rather then the lows, but that wouldn't be true of life.

We have to deal with both.

Jesus shows us that there is high's and low's.

Yet through it all we can still learn from the exerpeience.

How can you learn from what you are going through today?

Have a great Friday.
