Disneyland is a place every kid should go.
If it is such a memorable place to go as a kid, why can’t I remember it?
I remember vaguely going to Disneyland as a kid.
I remember our family went along with my cousin Justin, but I don’t really remember much other than that.
Why is something that is supposed to be so memorable so forgettable?
I know as a kid it was fun, but other than that, I don’t remember much.
If we can’t remember, was it really worth it?
If not, what is worth remembering?
We just looked at Jesus dying on the cross.
This next section is just focused on Jesus dying on the cross.
A centurion who saw all that had happened said, “Surely this was a righteous man.”
Then they went to all the people who saw his death and this is what was said in Luke 23:48-49…
“When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.”
This is a scene they would never forget about.
There are some things we forget about.
Jesus on the cross for me.
That is something that is hard to forget about.
Sometimes I don’t want to think about it.
I am a sinful person and I can’t believe that Jesus would do that for a sinner like me.
Why do I deserve that?
Christ dying on the cross is something I don’t forget about, I feel a little guilt with the fact Jesus did that for me.
I won’t forget about Christ.
I will try to remember what these people witnessed and how that changed their lives forever.
Is that something that is memorable to you?
If so, how do you show that with your life?
Have a great day.
