As long as you breathe you have a choice

Jesus was sentenced to be crucified along with two criminals.

They mocked him all the way to the Skull (The place where he was crucified).

The criminals spoke to him as he was hung on the cross.

One man told Jesus, you’re the Christ, save us.

The other one rebuked him and said this is Luke 23:40-41…

“Don’t you fear God. Since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

He asked Jesus to remember him in his kingdom.

Jesus told him this, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

The man was on his deathbed and still made a decision to follow Christ.

Jesus gives us this opportunity, all we have to do is believe.

Jesus gives us this opportunity to recognize he died a painful, painful death to die for our sins.

Our sins that we don’t even feel comfortable sharing with other people.

Jesus did this for us.

Until the moment we die, we have a chance to do this.

I never want to hear anyone that I love is going to hell.

It scares me to think that some of my great friends and people I love dearly might not be in heaven.

I pray for people daily that are far from Christ.

It’s never too late until the day we die.

I pay that you recognize what Jesus did on the cross and recognize that he did that for our sins.

It’s through that recognition and living faith out to get to heaven.

Where are you at with God?

Have a great weekend.
