Sick Again

It's never fun being sick.

For the past couple of weeks I have been sick.

Once every while I have sinus infections.

They are reoccurring and not enjoyable.

I have no idea when they go away.

Somehow they just go away over time.

I think the only time (over the past couple of weeks) I didn't feel sick was when I preached.

Just like an infection bring us down and we aren't normally ourselves, sin does that to us.

The people during Haggai's time had problem that kept them from literally producing fruit.

Haggai 2:16…

"When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty."

Sin was the reason why these people didn't have good harvest (According to my study bible).

Just like sickness can bring us down, sin can do the same.

It changes our thinking, a sense of guilt can overcome us, we are not the same person.

We can change, we can have accountability for things that bring us down.

Whether it comes from checking in with a friend or it comes from accountability software from xxx church.

We do not have to be dragged down by sin.

Sickness goes away over time, the same could be said about sin.
