Dude.

There are some things we don’t understand.
For me one of those things was Geometry.
As a freshman at Everett, it was my worst subject that year.
I did not pass one test that year (Normal or final exam).
Yet, I ended up with a C first semester and a B second semester.
After failing the test, you had a chance to go visit the teacher and go over the questions you got wrong.
You got half credit for whatever problems you worked on.
So a test I originally didn’t pass went from 50 percent to 75.
I didn’t understand Geometry, but I still worked hard and gave up lunch time in order to get it right.
Some things we don’t understand just like Zechariah.
There was a symbolic reference to a gold lampstand that had several channels of light at the top.
Zechariah had no idea what it meant in chapter 4.
It’s explained to him from an angel in verse 6…
“So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.”
It’s finally explained to him. Not by might nor by power, but by God’s Spirit.
When we finally figure something out, we are relieved.
Ever have that experience?
There are some things that aren’t easy to figure out.
Faith is the same way, it’s not always easy to explain it, but we try our best.
There is a lot of things I still don’t understand, but I still believe.
It’s faith.
Have a great day.
