You gotta see this

Hailee bless her heart, has to put up with me and my weirdness.

Everyone has those little things that are different, but they are us.

Anytime I get to watch Sportscenter I always check to see when the top 10 list is coming on.

When it comes on, no matter what Hailee is doing I tell her to stop and watch the top 10.

She knows this is coming and deals with me.

I always watch the top 10 list and I am amazed at the results.

Yet when Hailee wouldn't be around, I would be left to watch this amazing thing by myself.

I don't enjoy that.

When I celebrate or am amazed by something, I want to share that with someone else.

I used to call Hailee over during the Top 10 list.

After doing this so much she realizes that it's easier to stop what she is doing then have me call her every time.

Why do I do this?

I don't want to be amazed alone.

We are like that, we like to share good news or amazing things (good or bad) with other people.

On Facebook we share most things.

You find out…

When someone is pregnant.

When someone is getting married.

When it's someone's birthday.

We like to share with other people.

Faith is one thing that is meant to be shared.

In Mark 1, we see Jesus getting rid of a demon.

The witnesses were left in awe.

After watching this happened, this is what was said in Mark 1:27-28…

The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, "What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him." News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee."

Nobody…

Nobody has ever done anything like this before.

News spread quick just like a gossip in a Christian circle (Sometimes we even Christianize this by using words like please pray for, or how would you handle this situation as a Christian).

Everyone was finding out about Jesus and what he was doing.

How often do we do that today?

I know I drop the ball at this.

I can get more excited to watch the Top 10 list then share my faith with someone.

Some news is worth spreading.

What's keeping you from sharing the news everyone has to see?

It also doesn't have to be done verbally, it can be done by actions.

Imagine how those neighbors you talk bad about would be amazed if you went over there and helped shovel their snow?

They were amazed by what they saw from Jesus and told everyone.

How can we do the same today?

What do you think?

Have a great day.
