You think you know, but you have no idea

Just because you know of someone doesn't really mean you know of them.

We look into the spotlight and see stars, we see all the glitz and glamour of professional athletes, models and actors just to name a few.

Then we when see they are not Jesus we somehow are shocked and it hits the newsstand and we are left in awe.

We hear about Winona Ryder stealing and being shocked.

We see a supposedly clean basketball player in Kobe and are shocked by what we find.

The latest drama is Tiger Woods.

Now it's coming out with all the women he has been with while married.

People are shocked and amazed, just because we see someone in the spotlight does not mean we know the true them.

Tiger Woods make the majority of his $110 million from endorsements that are now getting taken off the air.

One of which is Gatorade is smartly pulled the Tiger Woods edition bottles.

This was very smart for a company whose statement is, "Gatorade, is it in you?"

Good time to pull that off the air.

Why do we seem shocked?

We think we know someone just because we see them on TV but we really don't know them.

Currently people are trying to find out about Jesus.

They think they know what he is all about as he starts healing people.

People from all over were coming to Jesus to be healed.

Yet think they know Jesus but they have no idea.

Mark 1:34 goes into this…

"and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was."

Anyone and everyone heard about the healings of Jesus and he healed them.

One of the things people had was demons.

They were demon-possessed.

Jesus would go through and cast out the demons.

When the demons saw Jesus, they knew who he was and the purpose of his ministry.

Why would Jesus not tell who he was?

Those getting healed did not know who he really was just like today we don't know the true celebrity.

That is the thing about faith, it's faith that saves.

Just because you know who Jesus is or attend Church once every while does not save you.

Even the demons that Jesus told to shut up knew who he was.

Where are you with Jesus?

Is he someone you just know or is he someone you have faith in?

Just when you think you know it with faith, you might have no idea.
