There is something about anti-fog that really just….isn't.
Playing paintball, no matter what stuff I have had it didn't work.
It might have worked for a brief time, but soon in the heat of the battle my mask often fogged up.
Paintball is not easy to play when you can't see right in front of you.
I have spent many after games cleaning my mask whether because of paint or because of fog to be able to see for the next game.
Not always the easiest thing.
Sometimes our vision is skewed or a little bit off at times.
A blind man came up to Jesus to be healed.
Jesus spit in his eyes and put his hands on him.
This is what the man first saw in Mark 8:24…
"He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around."
Jesus then put his hands on the man one more time and his sight was fully restored.
This man's vision was literally skewed, sometimes we are like the same way.
We often have our blinders on and it changes how we view things.
Whether it's by life experiences or a drastic change in our life, our vision can change.
There are things I never thought about before becoming a parent myself.
There are people I learned to never judge a book by its cover from.
Often at times we have to have a vision check to see if we are missing something or heading in the wrong direction.
The more we clean that mask off to see, the more we see.
Often at times our main problem can be we only see things through our vision.
We don't often look through life through someone else's shoes.
It is often a life changing experience just like on the show Undercover boss.
We are surprised when we are actually thrown into a situation.
Our eyes are opened like never before.
Try to live through someone else's shoes.
Just picture it in your head.
Just take a minutes and think of someone you don't like and honestly think what must be tough for them.
Often times we are so focused on ourselves we forget to look at life through another person.
How does that change how you view people?
How does it open up your vision?
Have a great day.
