A noteworthy change

We all like to see something amazing happen.

Last night, I was at home and saw some great fireworks from one of our neighbors.

It's been a couple of days from the fourth and the fireworks they shot off were impressive.

You could tell they took advantage of the discounts and made the most of them.

This fourth of July we sat at the park as a family.

I had one kid snuggle up to me and just look up laying back on the hill and lay in awe.

You saw the look on their faces, it was amazing.

How often do we go through life not feeling something amazing?

We just go through the moments not thinking that something great can happen to us.

We sometimes feel we are just working just to work or going to school just to go to school.

Life is so much more than that.

Something remarkable is going to happen.

Do you think this?

Jesus went around healing people, people that were hurt and had no hope for getting better.

Jesus gave them a hope if they had faith.

In Luke 5, there is a story about people that heard Jesus was in town and wanted to see their friend healed.

There was no room to bring him in to see Jesus so they put a hole through the roof to lower him down to see Jesus.

Jesus talked to the man, forgave him of his sins and healed him.

This was a shock to the people.

Luke 5:26…

"Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, "We have seen remarkable things today."

They were able to see a man healed in ways they never thought about before.

They saw something remarkable.

How often do you see something remarkable?

Even when we feel like we don't amazing things happen all around us.

People experience miracle through babies being born.

People overcome illnesses they were supposed to die from.

Struggling marriages can become strong again.

People can lose weight, be happier and healthier then they have ever been.

Something remarkable can happen to you.

Whether it's getting in shape and losing weight or whether it's being able to spend quality times with our kids when we are really busy.

Remarkable things can happen all around us, to us and through us.

These things are possible through Jesus and our strong wills.
