Bad eggs are not good.
Good eggs can even become bad.
Hailee and I got to eat with my sis and brother in law Josh at the best breakfast place in Lansing, Golden Harvest.
It's awesome.
It's one of those small places, but you have to get there and get in line a half an hour before they open to get a spot.
We went there for her 30th birthday.
We had a ton of leftovers and took them with us.
It was too bad we were gone and the eggs just sat in the car all day.
Even good eggs can go bad.
In the original Willy Wonka movie, I remember a girl that was not a good girl.
She ended up going on the egg meter to test good and bad eggs, she was a bad egg and dropped.
There is good and bad.
Jesus tells us this in Luke 8:44-45…
"Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. Good people bring good things out of the good stored up in their heart, and evil people bring evil things out of the evil stored up in their heart. For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks."
What words and actions come out of our mouths.
Good or bad?
We can lift people up with what we say or we can tear people down.
Do people see good coming from you or bad?
I once had a friend long time ago that was very negative.
They would always tear people down and talk bad about them.
You would hear only negative things come from them.
They weren't pleasant to be around and influenced other people not to like people they normally liked.
Do we have this influence on other people?
How do you talk to other people?
To people notice you as a positive person or a negative person?
Are you a good or bad egg?
How do you want to be remembered?
As someone who is an encouragement or someone that tears people down?
The choice is yours.
Have a great day.
