Going into a court room is an interesting feeling.
I have been in a courtroom several times over the years.
From going to friend of the court, to being subpoena and a couple of others I have been before an actual judge.
It's weird going into a courtroom.
I never have had to go into a courtroom for doing something wrong, but it was a weird feeling.
Going into a courtroom where someone was going to be judge to this day puts a knot in my stomach.
I was in a car accident several years ago.
I wasn't at fault but three times I got a subpoena to be in court as a witness.
It was always an awkward feeling.
Sitting in the courtroom knowing people were justifying their cases was interesting.
During this case the defendant and the issuing officer didn't show up.
I was served a subpoena three times.
All three times I was the only one present.
It was interesting.
All three times I am in a room where the judge is going to laid down the law on the people.
We all will be judged just not always in the way we imagine.
We get judged by our families, friends, co-workers, enemies, rivals and in the courtroom.
Even if you don't feel like you are being judged, there is a day when we all will get judged.
Jesus gives the example of the fact we look at the sky and guess and prepare for what the clouds do.
When we see dark clouds, we prepare for rain, and when we feel wind blow from the south, it's going to be warm.
We judge the weather and dress accordingly.
Yet we don't prepare in other measures with much more on the line.
Luke 12:56-57 (From The Message Bible)…
"Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time? Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right?"
Jesus is warning the people of that time, he is here and he is the Messiah.
Yet people that were observant and paid attention to the weather couldn't observe and see something special was right in front of him.
Jesus performed miracles before them, raised people from the dead, healed people that doctors couldn't heal and taught in amazing ways.
Through all this, people still didn't believe and wanted more signs.
Jesus warns them, we will all be judge one day for what we do on this earth.
We have a choice to judge what is right and what is wrong.
We have a choice with our faith, what we believe and don't believe.
One day we will all have to answer to God.
We will all be judged.
Do you feel confident in your life and who you gave your life too?
Do you think you will go to heaven when you die?
I will give some free advice, you don't get to go to heaven for being a good person.
Be observant, listen and think to the best of your abilities.
Life is so much more then what we grasp.
Have a great day.
