Do people's opinions matter?

What do people say about you?

Is that important?

How much do you value other people’s opinions?

Does this matter?

Often I care to much about what other people think of me.

It’s a problem I have and I want people to be pleased with me and it’s a struggle because you can’t please everyone.

Every years it’s a struggle to see all my friends and family that I would love to see.

There are a lot of people I would love to see but can’t.

When we try to please everyone, we can end up pleasing no one.

Trying to please everyone and what people think about you are two separate things.

We know what we think of ourselves, but it is always true?

Jesus shares this in John 5: 31-32…

“If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true. There is another who testifies in my favor, and I know that his testimony about me is true.”

What do people think of you?

Do they speak highly of you?

Some people head into jobs and have references; the people usually speak good of you.

This is usually planned and the people will say good things about you.

What about the other people?

People at your job or your family?

What does your Facebook status’s say about you and what’s important to you?

After Jesus died, so many people spoke on his behalf and what he stood for.

That is what got us Christianity and the good that is behind that today.

Who testifies in your favor?

Honestly, do you think they speak highly of you?

People speak highly of Jesus and our words represent his life and his vision.

Does your life represent who you are as a person?

Have a great day.
