Everyone wants to be the life of the party.
The one the party keeps going on with.
I love a good party.
Surprise party, birthday party, random party for no reason, they are all great.
Jesus was the life of the party.
His first miracle took place at a wedding.
The wedding party ran out of wine.
This was a major disgrace at the time.
Not being prepared for guest coming from a long way away, they would be shunned.
Jesus mother brought this to his attention.
He wasn’t ready for this, but he complied with his mom and helped the wedding.
He took six jars that held 20-30 gallons each and filled them with water.
He told the disciples to get some water from the container.
It was now wine and not just wine but great wine.
John 2:9-10…
“The master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then the called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
Jesus provide the best for the people.
He saved a family from being disgraced and kept the party going.
Jesus took care of the people just like he takes care of us today.
Having faith can make a world of difference when we have no other hope.
